While stopped in my car at a traffic light, I noticed a man in a motorized wheelchair that was having trouble getting up a curb. A young couple walking by noticed he was struggling and immediately came to his aid. So great seeing strangers help strangers.

I was touched by my two adult children who had enough compassion for each other to confront and work on their differences. Their love inspires me to want to work harder in my closest relationships.

On a very crowded transit ride, a young woman offered her seat to an elderly man. He had trouble even getting to the seat with his walking cane, but others made a point to help him along. Courtesy does still exist... even in rush hour.
